Scholars say the Chinese have more proverbs, and use them more than any other people. This form of folk-wisdom can serve as a guide to us as we navigate through life. One of my favorites… “When the student is ready, the master appears.” It speaks to the importance of an open mind, and living in the question, and to my mind…being a lifelong learner.
